I don't know how you don't like the smoke, I think it turned out really cool! I was so excited when I saw the lines and this turned out really, really amazing. Just look how darling he is, I love it! *clings to you slobbering with joy* XD
It looks like it probably ate like, half your black pencil though! XD Oh yeah, and a few days ago I just got my package with all the artwork in it, and I was really happy to receive that. I guess the mail just takes a little bit to get, that's all.

I was going to try something entirely new with it, but then just went along with abit more of a shaded version of what i'd normally do (if you can even tell that haha) but i really enjoyed colouring him! Such a quirky character to work with! :')
And yeah x_x i did have to get afew more black pencils probably around the time i coloured this guy, but that doesn't really matter xD black gets used alot with me anyway!
Also, i'm definitely glad to hear you got the original lot of drawings, and i just hope you like them in person!
